“I’m still chilling out after completing the tracking on my upcoming solo album. I’m at the beach with my family and my wife’s family. I just finished book #1… The Ruins. It was awesome and we’re going to watch the movie tonight, but i’m sure it’ll suck. Jason and I (Life in General) spoke yesterday about the Authentic Records release of our upcoming 21 track (!?) cd. We’re going over the contracts sent by the label. There appears to some clause about “ownership of 1st born children.” We’re not sure if FedEx or UPS is the best way to accomplish this.”

Jerry Chapman combines the bounce-around energy of the Barenaked Ladies, the hooks of The Beatles, the spiritual integrity of Jars of Clay, the literate songwriting of Bruce Springsteen and the primal rock power of The Ramones. Sound impossible? Maybe, but it’s an awful lot of fun to watch.
